Types of workshops we provide:

NRX® Soft Splinting workshop - Killarney

  • Once a month on a Saturday throughout the year - the available dates are advertised on this page and through social media

  • Venue: Perfect Therapy clinic, Killarney, Kerry

  • Max 4 participants per workshop to allow for individual approach and  attention 
  • Each workshop lasts between 6 to 7 hours, typically from 10 AM to 4 PM or 5 PM

  • 45-minutes introduction to the materials, their properties and reasoning for their applications, followed by the practical hands-on workshop

  • Program includes applications for upper limb and lower limb, a tailored made program can be made to suit clinical caseload of participants

  • 45-minutes introduction to the materials and their applications, followed by the practical hands-on workshop

NEW  WORKSHOPS  DATES

Don't miss the opportunity to learn  all about NRX straps and how to apply them to create variety of functional soft splints. 

  • One day workshop running from 10am to 5pm
  • Small numbers of participants so everyone gets our full attention
  • Program can be adjusted - we have a syllabus for upper limb and lower limb and we can combine the applications to suit your clinical caseload
  • Workshops will take place in our own Perfect Therapy clinic in Killarney - make a weekend in Kerry out of it!

COST:  €150* per person

The price includes:

  • NRX® materials for making between 12-15 orthoses for upper and lower limb - for keeping! (worth €150*)
  • Manual with detailed instructions for making 10+ soft splints
  • Practical pouch for washing the soft splints
  • Measuring tape

*the price can vary depending on which orthoses are being made during the workshop

We will be hosting a Thermoplastic Splinting Course suitable for beginners with no experience in Thermoplastic splinting as well as more experienced hand therapists looking to explore new materials and techniques.
